The Etiquette of Smoking |

The Etiquette of Smoking Smoking is glamorous, sexy and cool. It is especially great while drinking and after sex. However, smoking is horribly, HORRIBLY bad for your health and the health of the people around you. When smoking around non-smokers (this includes children), be considerate of them. Smoking is a choice that you made and you have no right to impose that choice onto someone else. Quietly excuse yourself and move to an area out of smoke range from them. Never smoking inside of any building or vehicle without the owners permission. Dispose of butts properly and make sure your butt doesn't catch something on fire. Never blow smoke into someone face that isn't a smoker. However, there is an exception to this rule. If approached by a nagging non-smoker after which you have made precautions not to bother anyone, you are free to verbally assault them as you like. Example from High priest Kiel: "One day up in Tahoe, High Priest Kiel stepped off the main strip in Tahoe, back around a building to enjoy a very tasty cigarette. While enjoying said cigarette, a bitch of a lady spotted Kiel, then proceed out of her way to confront High Priest Kiel. The lady scolded and pointed at the cigarette, 'Those things cause cancer!' High Priest Kiel, not missing a beat, points at her chest and replies, 'So do those.' Shocked, the lady walks away. Always freely give up a cigarette to anyone that asks if you have one to spare. Always confirm if it is OK to bum one if you notice the person you are bumming from is low.
